Kestrels are no longer such a common sight as they were, hovering alongside motorways and field margins. Estimates suggest that the UK population has reduced from over 100,000 in the early 1970s to under 40,000 pairs today.
Help these iconic raptors by providing a good nest site with our Kestrel Nest Box. This has a 100mm deep canopy, a good (100mm) entrance lip, spacious nesting area and sturdy perch. It is easy to erect the box on a tree or wall with the integral side mounting strip. The box is best mounted high up with good panoramic views to attract nesting kestrels but facing away from the prevailing weather.
These bird boxes are normally supplied Right Handed as shown in the photo, but, if you prefer it, can at your request be made Left Handed with the side mounting strip and the perch moved to the opposite sides of the box.
